Appoint a proxy if unable to attend AGM

All financial members are able to participate in the AGM business on Wednesday 14 December 2016.  If any member is unable to attend the AGM they can appoint another member as a proxy to vote on their behalf or delegate to another representative of their business.  According to the AABC constitution, an official proxy form (downloadable here) must be lodged with the nominated Returning Officer (through the AABC office) before the commencement of the AGM.  No member entitled to vote is permitted to exercise more than one (1) proxy vote at any one time and a  voting member may hold no more than five (5) proxy votes.  Corporate Partner, Corporate Sponsors and Corporate Members are only entitled to one vote each, even though they can have up to four guests at dinner at no additional cost to them.
