The next Network monthly Dinner is the usual planning meeting for the year. All members and guests are invited to participate in the planning process.  You will be pleased to know that there will be many opportunities to interact and network on the night.

The Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI) is inviting expressions of interest from companies interested in participating in a multi sectoral trade mission to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia in February 2012.  AACCI will provide full support to interested companies in participating in the mission, including individual match making programs, visa applications, accommodation and transport throughout the trip.

The Australian Arab Business Network has been officially invited to the 14^th international Arab Business Forum in Doha on 20 and 21 February 2012.  We are canvassing members who may be interested in being part of the delegation from Australia that will take part in the Forum.   The Forum will be conducted in Arabic mainly.  Any one interested should contact us ASAP to advise of arrangement.  The Forum will provide access to business delegations and officials from every Arab country and will provide critical business connections for members pursuing Middle eastern business interests.  Contact AABN for registration form

NEW AABN MEMBERS

The Australian Arab Business Network (AABN) was a recipient of a University of Western Sydney (UWS) Partnership Award 2011. The award is a recognition of appreciation for the contribution that the AABN had made to the learning and teaching environment of the University of Western Sydney.

At a well attended meeting of members, the Australian Arab Business Network held its Annual General

Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 14 December 2011 at the Fontana Di Trevi, Bankstown. The meeting

received reports on activities for the last 12 months and plans for the next twelve months.
